This morning the world woke up to an incredible story. Jayle Marselles Brown the 26years old black NBA player of Celtic from Georgia signed the richest contract in the 77-year history of the NBA. The deal is valued 304Million Dollars!
Massive right?
Now, about a decade ago, Jaylen’s white school teacher at Joseph Wheeler High School in Cobb County said to him “In five years’ time, I will look for you in Cobb County Jail” She made this racist statement not minding that Jaylen was one of the brightest in class.
What a wow!
That teacher may have forgotten but Jaylen never did. That particular statement became Jaylen’s biggest “Why”. He desperately wanted to prove that racist white teacher wrong.
Today, he has. Even in the grave, she must by now be hearing the name of Jaylen not as a prisoner but as America’s biggest NBA success.
